“Untitled. Hands on Canvas” is a POV choreography for two hands (stereo audio or headphones recommended) aiming to show the multidimensionality of perception through different forms of audiovisual dissonance. Sound acts as the leading element that shifts perception away from the initial familiarity.

Pietro Dossena is an internationally active composer and multimedia artist, particularly interested in the exploration of inter-art relationships from a poetical and semiotical standpoint. He studied in Milan, Padua, Paris and S. Barbara (California) and is a professor at the Sassari Conservatory. He is the author of compositions for voices and acoustic instruments, electronic music, videos and installations. Award “for innovation in composition” at the Prix Luigi Russolo 2014, winner of national and international competitions, he has presented his works in concerts and festivals all over the world: New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, Darmstadt Ferienkurse, MACBA in Barcelona, Milano Musica, Impuls Graz, Museo Novecento in Florence, University of Greenwich, MUSLAB Mexico City and many others.
